1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup salted peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly grease a baking sheet or shallow metal pan. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. heat stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Then bring to a boil and continue cooking to hard crack (300º on candy thermometer) or until a few drops in cold water separate into hard brittle threads. remove from heat and stir in butter, salt and peanuts. Quickly pour onto prepared sheet. Cool and then break into pieces.
