3-1/2 to 4-1/2 C. flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 pkgs. yeast
1 C. milk
1/2 C. water
1/4 C. butter

In a large bowl, mix 1-1/2 C. flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. In a saucepan, combine milk, water, and butter. Heat over low heat until warm (butter will not be completely melted). Add dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes. Add 1/2 C. more flour and beat for another 2 minutes. Add enough flour to make soft dough. Turn on floured board and knead. Place in greased bowl and let rise 15 minutes. Divide into rolls and place in a greased muffin pan. Let rise 15 minutes. Bake at 425º (or less depending on oven) for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

This is probably the most requested recipe I've had. I first got this when Mike and I got married and had our first Thanksgiving together. A friend told me this was a no-fail recipe - and she's right! I always get lots of compliments on this and until Heather and Amber got Celiac's disease, we always had this for special dinners. (We still do, they just can't have them!)
