2 1/4 C. sifted flour
1 C. soft butter (2 sticks)
3/4 C. brown sugar
3/4 C. white sugar
2 eggs
2 cups. chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Optional: 1 cup of nut of your choice. I like macadamia nuts.

3x the recipe::
6 3/4 cup flour
3 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. salt
3 cups of butter (6 sticks)
2 1/4 white sugar
2 1/4 brown sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs
6 cups choc. chips
3 cups nuts (optional)

5x recipe:
11 1/4 cups flour
5 tsp. baking soda
5 tsp. salt
5 cups butter (10 sticks)
3 3/4 cup sugar
3 3/4 cup brown sugar
5 tsp. vanilla
10 eggs
10 cups choc. chips
5 cups nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-Heat oven to 375º.

Mix softened butter, brown and white sugar till blended. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly mix in to batter. Add choc. chips and nuts till blended.

Scoop on baking sheet and bake at 375 for 8-11 minutes
