1/4 c. cornstarch
2/3 c. sugar
2 c. milk - not fat-free
1 egg & 1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 T. cocoa
2 T. butter
cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix sugar, cocoa, & cornstarch. Add eggs, vanilla, and 1/2 c. milk. Mix well. Add rest of milk and heat on stove over low heat until thick, stirring continuously. (Don't boil.) Add butter and stir until melted. Cool. Put in 8" or 9" baked pie shell. Top with cool whip. You can also then top this with curled or grated chocolate.
