1 c. sugar
1/4 c. dark brown sugar
1/3 c. white corn syrup (Karo)
1/3 c. melted butter (not hot)
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugars. Add syrup and melted butter.
Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Mix well and pour into unbaked 8" pie crust. Throw pecans on top. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes. Reduce heat to 325º and bake until bubbles on top and is brown.

A 9" pie crust is too big. If you don't have an 8" pie pan, use the small aluminum pie pans you can get at the grocery store.
