8 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in shallow greased baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. Add water. Combine brown sugar and flour. Cut in butter until very fine and crumbly. Spread over apples. Bake at 400º for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º and bake for 25 minutes or until apples are done.
