Ingredients: 1-1/2 C. flour (use gluten-free flour for gluten-free dessert)
1 C. pecans
1/2 C. butter
1 - 8 oz. package of cream cheese (softened)
1 C. powdered sugar
1 container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 large package of instant vanilla pudding
2 small packages of instant chocolate pudding (can use butter pecan)

Directions:Heat oven to 350º. In a bowl, combine flour and butter. Add pecans. Mix until crumb-like. Spread by pressing in 13 X 9 pan. Cook for about 15-20 minutes. Let cool. While first layer is cooking, prepare second layer: Mix cream cheese with sugar. Fold in half of the whipped topping and spread over the crust after it has cooled. For the top layer: Make instant pudding according to instructions. Spread over middle layer. Spread remaining whipped topping on top of this. Top with more chopped pecans or shaved chocolate. Cover and refrigerate about 3 hours before serving. |

Notes: This has always been a HUGE family favorite. Any time I have ever had to take a desert with me, this has always been the go-to desert I take because it makes a lot and it's always a hit. I got this when we lived in Levelland and Amber's preschool created a cookbook.
