1 c. butter
1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts
1 c. rice crispies
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut

Directions:

Cream butter, oil, sugars, and egg. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Add chips, nuts, cereals, and coconut. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Press down with a fork or with your fingers. Bake at 350º for 11 - 13 minutes.

This makes a lot of cookies. Recipe can easily be divided into halves or fourths. You can also leave out the chocolate chips if you want. Don't use parchment paper on cookie sheets as the cookie sheet contributes to the cookie being a little crunchy.
