"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
2 heaping serving spoons of powdered sugar
1 heaping serving spoon of Miracle Whip
1 cup celery, diced
3-4 large eating apples, diced
large handful salted cashews
(Fuji, Braeburn, etc)

Directions:
Using a normal sized serving spoon, spoon powdered sugar into a bowl, then use same spoon for Miracle Whip (doesn't work the other way around!). Stir in celery and apples. Just before serving, mix in cashews.
Salad will not last refrigerated once cashews are added. You have to eat it all at one meal. Not hard to do...
