1lb 93% Lean Ground Turkey Breast
1lb 90% Ground Beef
1 egg (or 2 egg whites)
1.5 cup Italian Seasoned Breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chopped onions (or apples)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp Adobo or Lawrey's seasoning
1 tsp Italian blend of spices

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, beef, egg and onions. Mix ingredients by hand. In a separate bowl, mix the seasonings together. Next, combine the seasonings with the meat and mix by hand until evenly distributed.

After all ingredients have been combined, shape into a loaf and place into a 5x9 inch casserole pan.

Tent a piece of foil over the casserole dish and place in oven for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, remove from oven, pour off juices and cook uncovered for 15 minutes.

Remove from over, add pasta sauce (or ketchup) to the top and let stand for 5-10 minutes.
