1 pkg. gum candy (sliced)
1 pkg. dates ( sliced)
2 cups pecans ( cut up)
1 can angel flake coconut or 1 cup mini-marshmellows
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
4 eggs
3 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Topping:
1 cup orange juice
2 cups conf. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt . Combine candy, dates, coconut and nuts add 1/2 cup flour and stir. Cream butter,sugar and one egg at a time. Add soda to buttermilk , then add flour to candy and nut mixture. Bake at 300 for 1 hour or until done.
Mix orange juice and conf. suger and when cake is taken out of oven pour over the cake and let set overnight.
