1 c. milk
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook flour and milk until thick, stirring constantly. Let cool completely. Cream oleo (be sure to use stick oleo or butter not the spreads) and sugar until fluffy, add the vanilla. Add the cooled flour mixture and beat until it looks like whipped cream. I always add a couple of drops of red food coloring.
Ready to ice your red cake.

This is the best icing. Not real sweet. Every time I make it I think of my Aunt and Godmother who is no longer with us.
