2/3 c. corn meal
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 egg

Mix all ingredients together well. Dip hot dogs in the batter and fry in hot oil or shortening. You can use the mini dogs too, makes a great finger food for the kiddos.
