1 lb.ground pork
1/2 lb.lean ground beef
3 tbsp. or 1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp.pepper
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 cup cooked potatoes, mashed just a little ( leave a few chunks)

Directions:

Cook pork, beef, onion. salt and pepper in water slowly. Let simmer for about 45 min. Scoop off some of the excess grease but not all of it. Add cloves and cinnamon. Cook 15 min. longer. Fold in mashed potatoes while mixture is still hot. Let set until cool or about an hour.
Put in 2 pastry pie shells
Cook at 400º for 45 min. or until pie crust is lightly browned.
