1 CUP NUTS
1 CUP RAISINS
1 CUP SOUR MILK OR BUTTERMILK
1/2 CUP LARD
2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
1/4 TEASPOON SODA
PINCH SALT
1/2 TEASPOON CINNAMON
1/2 TEASPOON ALLSPICE
1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
2 EGGS
3 CUPS FLOUR

ICING
2 CUPS BROWN SUGAR
PINCH BAKING SODA
2/3 CUP SWEET MILK
2 T CORN SYRUP
LUMP OF BUTTER 1/2 STICK

Directions:
Directions:
CAKE ADD ALL INGREDIENTS MIX AND BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 45 MIN TO 1 HOUR.
FROSTING ADD FIRST 4 INGREDIENTS AND MIX OVER HEAT UNTIL A SOFT BALL ADD BUTTER. SPREAD ON CAKE AND EAT!
