Ingredients:  
4 cups diced, seeded tomatoes (about 5 large)
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped (maybe reduce to ½)
2/3 C tomato paste
1/3 C undiluted tomato soup
¼ C white sugar
1 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs salt
2 ½ tsp garlic powder
½ Tbs cayenne pepper (this is a lot… use to taste)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in dutch oven. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 45 minutes. Stir often. Cool to room temperature, about 1 hour. Put into containers, cover and freeze for up to 3 months. Stir before serving. Makes about 5 cups. To double recipe, double everything… except, use ¾ cup tomato paste and 4 ½ teaspoons garlic powder.
