1 lb navy beans
2-3 slices of bacon, ham pork
3 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. powdered mustard.

Directions:
Directions:
Soak 1 lb navy beans in cold water over night. Pour over liquid. Add enough boiled water to cook without overdrying. bring to boil. Simmer 15 minutes. When beans are ready, pour over liquid in another bowl.
Then add 2 cups of liquid to mixture with above ingredients. Place half beans in casserole, use a few pieces of salt, pork ham or bacon ends. Cover with remaining beans.
Bake in slow oven 5-6 hours. Remove cover last 1/2 hour and bake.
