Directions:Line a loaf pan with foil on the bottom and up & over the sides. Crush 8 cookies. Mix the crumbs with melted butter. Form a crust on the bottom of loaf pan.
In a large bowl, cream together cream cheese, vanilla, peanut butter and sugar until smooth. Gently fold in 3 cups of cool whip.
Separate the cool whip mixture into 3 bowls. In one portion add 2 squares of melted chocolate and blend well.
Pour one plain bowl of cool whip mixture into the crust spread to cover the crust. Next Add the chocolate mixture and spread it over the first layer. Lastly, add the plain bowl of cool whip mixture on top that. Top with the renaming 1 cup of cool whip. Crush the remaining 4 cookies and sprinkle on the top.
Cover and freeze for 4 hours or overnight.
Remove from the pan. Remove the foil and slice. I slice mine in approximately 10 slices . Return to the freezer until you are ready to serve. |

Notes: Robin has made this desert and brought it into work to share. Many of the things she brings in are not only good, but they are usually very easy to prepare. This is one of my favorites, I always loved peanut butter and couldn't wait to try making this one myself at home. I really loved it. I grew up almost never eating any protein but peanut butter.
