1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak
2 T all purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
2 T salad oil
1/8 tsp pepper
3/4 C finely chopped onions
1 can (8oz.) sliced mushroom, drained
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed creamed of celery, chicken or mushroom.
1 C sour cream
1 beef bouillon cube
1 1/3 C boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
2 T chopped parsley
1 1/3 C minute rice

Cut steak into thin strips, coat with flour, salt, and pepper.
Brown quickly in oil in a flame proof casserole or skillet over high heat. Add onions and mushrooms, & Saute' over low heat until lightly browned and tender. Add mushrooms, worcestshire sauce, soup and sour cream. Bring to a boil. Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water. Add 1/2 tsp.salt, parsley, and rice. Make well in the center of the meat and pour the rice into the well. Bring to a boil, cover tightly, and let simmer about five minutes

Head start hint. prepare the recipe up to the point of sour cream and rice. cool quickly and store in refrigerator. To complete, thoroughly heat meat mixture, stir in sour cream and bring to boil and continue as recipe directs.
