1 1/2 lb. hot or sweet sausage (large link)
3 green peppers, cut into strips
2 onions, chopped
1 small clove garlic, minced
1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes
3 C Bow Ties Macaroni
1 T Sugar
1 T Worcestershire sauce
2 chicken bouillon cubes
6 C boiled water

In a 5 quart Dutch Oven, heat sausage and 1/4 c.water and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 5 min. Remove cover and continue cooking turning frequently until water evaporates and sausage is browned, about 20 min.

Remove sausage from the Dutch Oven and let drain on paper towels. Cut sausage into 1/4 inch thick slices and set aside.

In the drippings that are left in the Dutch Oven cook green peppers, onions and garlic over med. heat until tender.

Return the sausage slices to the Dutch Oven. Add the tomatoes, bow tie macaroni, sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Now add the 6 C boiled water with the bouillon cubes.

Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 25 min. Skim fat from soup before serving.
