4 C. Flour
1 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 Rounded tsp. nutmeg
1 C. Margarine, softened
1 1/2 C. Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 C. Sour cream or yogurt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/4-1/2 C. Anise seed

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour,baking powder, soda, salt, and nutmeg. In a large bowl beat butter, sugar and egg until light and fluffy. At low speed, beat sour cream and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add flour mixture, beat well until well combined. Add anise seed. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight. Next day roll dough to desired thickness. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375º.
