•1 bottle Liberian Club beer or any amber lager beerr (preferably flat)
•2 Tbsp brown sugar
•2 Tbsp seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay)
•1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
•1 tsp black pepper
•1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
•2-3 pounds crab claws, crab legs, or whole crabs (use 2-3 pound softshell blue crabs as an alternative to hardshell crabs)

Directions:

In a large stockpot, add the beer, sugar, seafood seasoning, vinegar, and spices and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the crabs and stir well. Cover stockpot and cook 7-10 minutes (15-20 for raw crabs), stirring well a few times. Remove crabs and serve hot.
