3 cups flour
dash nutmeg
dash paprika
4 eggs
3/4 cup milk
salt
saltine crackers
3-5 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Add eggs & milk. Beat well with spoon until thick & smooth, or use a beater with a dough hook. Boil a large pot of salted water. Dampen end of small cutting board; put on 1/3 of the dough and smooth it thin with a spatula. Cut off small strips of dough into the boiling water. Dip spatula in water several times during cutting. Cook until tender (about 5 minutes). Drain. Crush crackers into crumbs & fry in butter; put on top of spaetzle.
