3 1/2 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 cup 90% corn syrup
1/2 cup sliced walnuts
2/3 cup water
1 tsp Vanilla
1/8 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup, water, and salt together to soft ball test. Into the beaten egg whites pour gradually the first half cup of syrup, and then cook the remainder to hard ball test. Pour over egg whites after the half cup has been beaten in egg whites. Add vanilla and nuts. Heat until mass thickens and grows heavy. Use long strokes when beating; do not stir, beat, then pour onto buttered tins and cut before it gets cold
