3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 tbsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp salt
nuts, chocolate chips and cherries
Chocolate Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled

Directions:
Directions:
Mix powdered sugar, margarine/butter and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt until dough holds together. (If dough is dry, mix in 1-2 tbsp milk). For each cookie, shape dough by tbspful around nut, chocolate chips or cherry to form a ball. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350º or until set but not brown; cool. Dip tops of cookies into glaze. Decorate with coconut, nuts, colored sugar or chocolate chips if desired.
Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth. Stir in chocolate and/or food coloring.
