1 lb. confectioners sugar
¼ lb. margarine
2 tbsp bourbon
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 10-oz. pkg. chocolate chips or bits
3 tbsp. melted paraffin

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter with spoon. Add bourbon and nuts. Roll into balls. Refrigerate until chilled and then dip in mixture of chocolate chips melted with paraffin. Chill. Makes 60 bourbon balls.

A Christmas favorite of all Vervilles!
This is also a recipe of Mary Catherine Verville's - very similar to the above, but she uses 10 TBSP Bourbon! She suggests pouring bourbon over the pecans and soak for several hours prior to making the rest of the recipe.
