Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3c. white sugar
¾ c. (1 & 1/2 sticks) good margarine. Butter doesn’t work well
2/3 c. evaporated milk
Add:
1 ½ c. chocolate chips
3 ½ c. mini marshmallows (fresh are best)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts if desired

Directions:
Directions:
You must use a candy thermometer or all bets are off. If it cooks too long, will turn into a rock; not enough and it is fudge syrup!!
Butter a 13x9 pan
Bring to softball stage (235 degrees). Stir constantly—it will burn.
Stir until smooth and then pour into pan-work fast. It starts to set quickly.
Cut when almost cool.
(Use the pan scrapings as a treat or a bribe—especially good when warm)
