4 cans of pork & beans
5 pieces of bacon
1/2 c. of green pepper
1/2 c. onion
2 minced garlic cloves
1 lb. of hamburger or ground sausage
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tsp. mustard
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. liquid smoke
3 tsp. vinegar

Drain 3 cans of beans and pick the (pork) fat out of all 4. Cook bacon strips to crispy stage remove from drippings and chop it up. Saute onion, pepper and garlic in the bacon drippings, remove from drippings and set aside. Cook hamburger or sausage in bacon drippings season with salt and pepper. Drain well. Mix in the sautéed veggies. Mix ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, salt, pepper, liquid smoke, and vinegar. Add this to the meat mixture, mix well and gently stir in the beans. Pour in greased baking dish and cover. Bake 350 for 30-45 minutes.
