4 cups peaches
1 Tbls. fresh lemon juice
1/4 to 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. butter
a pinch of salt
1/4 tsp.almond extract
1 9 inch baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle lemon juice and sugar over the sliced peaches, let them sit for at least 1 hour. Drain the peaches mix together with cornstarch, salt and butter. cook over low heat until it is thick like pudding. Add the peaches and let everything cool. Pour the peaches into the pie shell refrigerate until ready to serve. Top with whip cream.
