1/2 Lb. Butter
3 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Crisco
5 Eggs (Beaten)
3 Cups Plain Flour(Sifted 4 X's, with baking powder)
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 Cup Milk
3 Tblsp. Vanilla Extract (or almond)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and crisco. Add eggs slowly, then milk, flour mixture slowly and vanilla.
Grease well. Do not preheat.

Bake at 325º for 2 Hours
Leave in oven 30 minutes after baking.
