Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2½ cups flour
½ cup powdered sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
1 stick butter
1 stick margarine
1 cup chopped pecans
Powdered sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Sift first four ingredients in mixing bowl. Add softened butter, margarine, and vanilla. Mix with hand until a ball is formed. Add pecans, mix, then roll into fingers or balls (about 1¼ inches in diameter). Place on cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Cook at 350º until done, about 25-30 minutes, depending on size of ball or fingers and oven. Cool on racks. Roll in powdered sugar and place in tin. Will keep a long time at room temperature. I put powdered sugar in a baggie, dump in a lot of fingers and shake.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
These pecan fingers I ate at a tea when I was 18. I was so ignorant back then I didn't know what a tea was or how to act. These cookies have been my favorite cookie ever since.
