1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup hot water
2 egg whites
1 heaping tsp cream of tartar
10 -12 large marshmallows
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp almond flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the sugar and hot water a little longer than soft ball stage. (I boil to soft ball and pour some on beaten egg whites and boil rest a little longer) Whip the egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Slowly add syrup, then add marshmallows ( I use 12 chopped marshmallows), and vanilla. (I leave out the lemon juice and almond flavoring). Beat well.
