Fried English Walnuts Recipe

2 c. English walnuts
Sugar
Oil
Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil walnuts in water (enough to cover) for 1 minute. Drain.
Coat drained walnuts with sugar (as much as will stick).
Fry in oil (about an inch deep) for 4 or 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
Drain on wire rack. Sprinkle with salt while still warm.
Allow to cool before enjoying. Store in air tight container.

I have two English walnut tress in my yard. Tiffany found this recipe to help enjoy the nuts in a different fashion. Makes a nice gift to share with neighbors.
