1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup melted butter (measure before melting)
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease muffin pans or place paper cups into muffin pans.
Using a wooden spoon, mix all ingredients and blend well. Fill prepared muffin pans 2/3 full. NOTE: you can place a pecan half on top of each muffin at this point if you so desire.
Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes. Check for doneness after 10 minutes using a toothpick or cake tester.
