1/2 cup oleo
1/2 cup Crisco
3 1/2 tbs cocoa
1 cup water
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla,
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp soda
1/2 cup butter milk


Frosting
1/3 cup milk
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 cup oleo
dash of salt
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla, nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Combine oleo, crisco, cocoa and water on stove. Bring to boil and set aside. Mix flour, sugar, egg, vanilla, salt, soda disolved in buttermilk. Bake in jelly roll pan 20 minutes at 400º.

Mix frosting ingredients 5 minutes before cake is done: milk, oleo, cocoa, salt. Bring to boil, remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Put on cake as soon as done.
