2 1/2 C. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 C. milk
1/2 C. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together, it should be a little thicker than pancake batter. If you don't have the spaetzle pan, take a pie pan and punch holes about the size of a pencil into the pan. Bring a large pan of water to a boil. . Pour the batter onto the pan and hold over your pan of boiling water. Run a wooden spoon back and forth over the pan until all of your batter is gone. When the spaetzle rise to the top of the water they are finished.

We use spaetzle with steamed and fried cabbage. I usually just use haluski noodles with my fried cabbage.
