1 lb butter
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 lb cherries
1 lb pecans
1 lb candied pineapple
1/4 tsp salt
5 eggs
1/2 cup whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well; add flour sifted with baking powder. Add whiskey, fold in nuts and fruit that has been floured. Bake in slow oven, 325º F, for 1 1/2 hours or longer.
