2 lbs ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons shortening
4 tablespoons flour (less may be needed)
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cans refrigerated biscuits

Directions:
Directions:
Saute beef and onion in shortening. Sprinkle in flour and stir to blend. Stir in ketchup and seasonings. Allow to cool. Pat each biscuit paper thin, 3 3/4 inches across. please on an ungreased baking sheet. Place about 1/3 cup of meat mixture on each.

Optional: Moisten edges, cover with another flattened biscuit. Pinch edges together. Cut small slit in center of each biscuit and brush with melted butter.

Bake at 450º for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
