4 1/2 C cornbread crumbs
1 lb pkg herb stuffing mix
2 10 3/4 oz cans cream of chicken soup
2 14 oz cans chicken broth
1 med onion, chopped
1/2 C celery, chopped
4 large eggs
1 T rubbed sage or poultry seasoning
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
2 T butter
1/2 C dried cranberries (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together cornbread crumbs, stuffing mix and next 8 ingred in a large bowl.
Pour into lightly greased 5 1/2 or 6 C slow cooker. Dot with butter. Cook.
covered, on LOW about 4 hours. I fluffed mine with a fork a couple of times during the cooking process.

Just in time for Thanksgiving!!! I tried this last year and loved it...especially freeing up the oven during feast prep! The flavor is very good although those of you with cherished stuffing recipes may not like the canned ingred. Other recipes may work fine in the slow cooker but will likely need more liquid with the longer cooking time.
