For Cake:
1 C Cake Flour
3/4 C All-Purpose Flour
1/4 C cocoa
1 C Granulated Sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs
Powdered Sugar

French Cream Filling:
3 1/2 T Flour
1/2 stick butter
3/4 C shortening
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 C milk
3/4 C sugar
1 1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Line Jelly roll pan with greased wax paper. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, then set aside. In small mixing bowl, beat eggs till thick - about 5 minutes. Pour eggs in mixing bowl on low speed - gradually add flour mixture beating until smooth. Pour into Pan spreading batter to corners. Bake12-15 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Loosen edges, turn out on tea towel and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Roll while still hot on narrow side and then cool on wire rack.

French Cream Filling:
Mix flour and milk into paste until thick. Put butter and shortening in bowl - cream. Add salt and sugar beat until fluffy - beat with mixer until it stands in soft peaks. Add vanilla, then refrigerate 20 minutes. Remove towel, unroll cake, spread filling, roll up and spread with powdered sugar.
