1/2 lb. bacon
1 lb. liver
2 large onions
Pepper
1/2 cup good red wine
1 jar wheat germ

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon, crumble and set aside. Fry onions; set aside. Slice liver to finger size. Place in a plastic bag with 1/2 jar wheat germ. Shake well. Fry in 1/2 inch oil about 3 minutes on each side or until light brown. Place in glass baking dish (8x10) . Layer liver, onion and bacon. Pour 1/4 to 1/2 cup wine over the above. Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes. The alcohol cooks out.
