1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoons cloves
1/3 cup oil
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons water
2 1/2 cups flour
3 cups almonds

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 300ºF.
2. Mix together the sugar, eggs, cloves, oil, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and water.
3. Add the flour and mix well.
4. Roll all the almonds into the dough and divide into 6 equal strips. Lay 3 strips on a cookie sheet and brush with an egg yolk beaten with 1 teaspoon water.
5. Bake the strips at 300ºF for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes. Then slice widthwise into biscotti.
