2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 T. cocoa
1 cup water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Measure sugar, flour and cinnamon in a large bowl.

Bring butter, shortening, cocoa, and water to a boil in saucepan. Pour over sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Add eggs, and buttermilk with soda dissolved in it then add vanilla.

Do not grease sheet pan. Place batter in ungreased sheet pan (batter will be thin). Bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Icing-
Add 1 box sifted powdered sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 cup pecan (optional) into mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. If too thick, add a little milk. Pour over cake while the cake is still hot.
