2 (16 oz.) packages frozen, sliced squash
1 stick oleo
1 1/3 c. chopped onion (equal to 1 med. large yellow onion)
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place frozen squash in dutch oven with enough water to cover squash. Boil gently til tender. Drain off water completely. Add oleo, onion and seasoning. Cook slowly for approximately 30 minutes. Stir often. Aduust salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Caution – will burn if not watched closely.
