1 c sugar
1/4 c butter
1 egg
1 c flour
1 t soda
1 t vanilla
1/4 t salt and nutmeg
1/2 t cinnamon
1 1/2 chopped apples
1/2 chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg an vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add creamed mixture. Add nuts and apples. Pour into 9x9 pan. Bake in 350º oven for 45 min. Top with sauce for Apple Delight.
Sauce
1 c sugar
1 t vanilla
1 c milk
1/2 c butter
2 T corn starch
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Serve on cake while warm.
