2-1/2 to 3 lbs. chicken (I used chicken breast)
1 cup chicken broth
1 onion, chopped
1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped celery
2 to 3 tablespoons butter
1 10-3/4 ounce condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 10-3/4 ounce can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 4-oz can green chilies, chopped
1 package Taco flavored Doritos
1 pound Longhorn cheese, grated
pinch salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken until tender in broth seasoned with celery, 1/2 onion, pinch of salt and pepper.Cool. Cut into bite size pieces. Saute remaining 1/2 onion in butter in a large kettle. Add soups, broth and green chilies and stir until well combined. Add chicken and mix well. In a large baking dish, place a layer of Doritos, a layer of chicken mixture and a layer of cheese. Repeat layers until dish is filled. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until bubbling.

Sauce can be frozen, but fresh Doritos and cheese needs to be used with it when thawed.

Actually, "reservations" are my favorite thing to make for dinner. My husband likes this dish fairly well, but it makes a LOT of food for two people.
