3 cups sugar
1 pound butter, (4 sticks) softened, not melted
6 eggs, room temperature
4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º.

Combine butter and sugar: cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in the flavorings.
Pour batter into a well-greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
To test, insert toothpick into cake. Pull out and if it is dry, then your cake is done.
