Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 dozen lively blue crabs
Light beer or water for steaming
Old Bay seasoning to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place a steamer attachment into the bottom of a large pot and add the beer or water about 1 inch. Bring to a boil and quickly add the crabs. Generously season the crabs all over as you place them in so they are covered evenly. Place the lid back on and steam them for about 12-15 minutes depending on size. Remove them and place on a newspaper lined table with a bowl for shells, wooden hammers, and plenty of napkins.
*Side dishes are steamed corn (10 minutes), steamed red or yellow potatoes (20-30 minutes depending on size), smoked sausage (8-10 minutes). Just make sure you don’t run out of steaming liquid. Add more as you need it.
