1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons butter
¼ cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 package Knorr Alfredo sauce mix
1 ½ cups milk
½ cup heavy or whipping cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup thinly sliced fresh basil leaves or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
8 ounces of your favorite pasta, cooked and drained

Directions:
Directions:
Season chicken, if desired, with salt and pepper. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in 12 inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and brown chicken, stirring occasionally about 5 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside. Melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter in the same skillet and cook onion stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until golden brown. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in
alfredo sauce mix blended with milk and cream. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally for 2 minutes. Return chicken to skillet and simmer until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Stir in cheese. To serve, toss sauce with hot cooked pasta and sliced basil. Garnish, if desired, with additional grated Parmesan cheese, ground black pepper and chopped fresh parsley.
