2 each lemons, juiced
1 cup sugar
3 T cornstarch
3 each egg yolks
1 1/2 cups water

3 each egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first group of ingredients until thick. Extra egg yolks don't hurt if they are lying around. Place in prebaked pie shell. Beat whites with a pinch of tartar and a little sugar until stiff. Cover cooled pie with meringue at 350 degrees until golden (about 12 minutes).

One of Gramma's favorite pies! She was aghast when Dan added an extra egg to it. Dan also added a bit of yellow food coloring to give it a nice color.
